Wedding Video Production in the UK

Bride's Preparations

We spend a short time catching the bride as she prepares for the wedding, the sort of occasion that grooms might wonder about. We follow the bride to meet any bridesmaids, maids of honour and parents.

How much we capture is entirely up to you. We aim to be as invisible as possible.

Groom's Arrival

One camera follows the groom and his best man from their arrival at the wedding venue.

Arrivals

We cover the arrival of the guests, the groom, the bride and bridesmaids and follow them into the venue.

Ceremony

We film the entire ceremony with one camera following the bride and a second on the groom. A third camera is positioned to view the entire congregation. We then switch to one camera on the couple and the another on the person conducting the ceremony.

Signing The Register

We aim to catch the bride and groom signing the register, while the congregation is filmed in their absence. You can elect to keep the actual music or we can dub another musical piece over the top during editing.

We follow the wedding party from the church from a distance, with camera set to capture the movement without intruding in any way.

The Photos

We take advantage of the setups by the principle photographers to catch the wedding party both formally and informally.

Receiving Line

We film the guests arriving at the reception and being received by the hosts.

The Reception

We capture the overall feeling of the reception with a focus on the bride and groom.

The Speeches

We film all the speeches and are more than happy to edit them as you please.

Cutting The Cake

Whether you plan a more formal slice with a knife or end up with your fingers in the cake we will try and set up the lighting for this shot.

First Dance

If you are using recorded music we can overdub the actual sound later. If you have a live band at this point we will record them as faithfully as possible.

The Diary Room

During the reception or any evening event, we will set up a small studio in a tent, where guests can come and share their thoughts and leave personal messages.

We will edit these as sensitively as possible as this tend to be very popular and we end up with hours of video. We will give you all the rushes on request of course, in case you are curious.

The Departure

If you are having a send off at the end of the day or night this will make a suitable end point for the film. You may also wish to end on a message of your own

For your wedding video production to go smoothly we will need a detailed plan of the day from yourselves or your wedding organiser. We will send you a complete checklist to make this as easy as possible. That said, we are used to situations changing rapidly and are very flexible. Our working day is from 8am until very late so do not hesitate to ask us for assistance at any time.
